Veterans face challenges that civilians do not, most notably post-traumatic stress disorder. The Courts have recognized this and special Veteran’s Treatment Courts have been set up in Duval, Nassau, Clay and many other counties in Florida. Depending on the crime charged, I have been successful in steering my veteran clients into these special courts. Once there, I am usually able to ultimately get the charges dismissed.
